About
I am currently a Tenure-track Assistant Professor and Presidential Young Fellow in the School of Data Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen).
Before joining CUHK-Shenzhen, I was a senior researcher and tech lead at the Institute for Quantum Computing, Baidu, from 2020 to 2023.
Prior to that, I was a postdoctoral fellow in Norbert Lütkenhaus’s optical quantum communication theory group, at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC), University of Waterloo. Before that, I was a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) at the University of Cambridge, where I worked with Hamza Fawzi.
I received my PhD degree in quantum information from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS:QSI) in 2018, under the supervision of Prof. Runyao Duan and Prof. Mingsheng Ying.
